NasoFree Nasal Saline Sachets with Xylitol – For ongoing sinus care

Do you suffer from chronic sinusitis, hay fever or ongoing nasal congestion? NasoFree Nasal Saline Sachets with Xylitol are specially developed for saline nasal rinse and daily sinus care, helping to cleanse the nose and support comfortable breathing.

Used with a nasal irrigator, the saline nasal rinse helps flush away mucus, allergens, dust and other irritants from the nasal passages and sinuses.

What are NasoFree nasal saline sachets with xylitol?

NasoFree nasal saline sachets with xylitol contain sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, xylitol and peppermint oil to create a saline nasal rinse solution for nasal wash and sinus rinse routines. The saline solution helps rinse away mucus, allergens, dust and other irritants from the nose and sinuses as part of a regular nasal irrigation routine.

Regular nasal rinsing may help to:

  • Remove excess mucus
  • Cleanse the nose and sinuses
  • Help maintain clean nasal passages during allergy seasons and colds
  • Support daily nasal hygiene

Why is xylitol added to a nasal rinse?

Xylitol is a naturally occurring ingredient that has been studied for use in nasal irrigation for people with chronic rhinosinusitis (chronic sinusitis). Research suggests that xylitol may help support regular sinus cleansing by helping reduce the protective mucus layer (biofilm) formed by certain bacteria.

This makes xylitol saline rinses a popular option for people looking for ongoing sinus care support as part of a daily nasal rinse routine.

When to use NasoFree

NasoFree nasal saline sachets with xylitol can be used as part of a regular nasal rinse routine in the following situations:

  • Chronic sinusitis (chronic rhinosinusitis)

How to use NasoFree

Prepare the solution

  • Empty one sachet of nasal rinsing salt into the nasal irrigator
  • Fill the bottle with distilled or previously boiled, lukewarm water (maximum 37°C)
  • Allow boiled water to cool to 37°C or below before use. Always check the temperature before rinsing

Note: Please read the full instructions for use before use.

Shake before use

  • Shake the nasal irrigator well so that the saline and water are fully mixed
  • Keep your finger on the cap while shaking
  • Lean forward over a sink and place the nozzle into one nostril at an angle (approximately 45°)
  • Gently squeeze the bottle

Rinse gently

  • Gently squeezing the bottle helps prevent the solution from entering your throat. If this happens, it is not harmful and you can spit it out
  • The solution may flow back through the same nostril (in case of severe blockage) or through the other nostril. Always keep the other nostril open and do not block it

Blow your nose

  • Blow your nose gently. Any remaining solution and loosened debris will come out
  • Repeat the process for both nostrils until the bottle is empty

When to use NasoFree

  • Sinusitis (rhinosinusitis)
  • Airway allergy to grass and tree pollen, house dust mites and/or animal dander
  • Colds
  • Recovery after nasal surgery (in consultation with your ENT specialist)
  • During or after a stay in a dusty environment
  • Snoring, as a result of colds or airway allergies

What’s in the sachets?

  • NasoFree nasal saline with xylitol: Sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, xylitol and peppermint oil

Easy-to-use sachets

  • NasoFree nasal saline (with and without xylitol) is packed in sachets with an inner layer of aluminium. This keeps the contents dry and prevents lumps forming
  • NasoFree is homogeneous in composition and one sachet contains just the right amount for a nasal rinse of 200 - 250 ml
  • NasoFree nasal saline sachets are available in 2.5 g (standard saline) and 6.5 g (saline with xylitol) sizes
